The evaluation includes a review of a person's social and sexual history, deviant or paraphilic interests, and risk of sexual reoffending. The purpose of an evaluation is to help identify treatment needs, assess risk, and propose recommendations. Angela has performed multiple evaluations with different agencies to date and is working towards full certification as a Sex Offender Treatment Provider (SOTP) in Iowa and a Sex Offender Treatment Provider and Evaluator in Illinois. She is currently a Licensed Associate Sex Offender Provider in Illinois. Angela is trained in various risk assessment tools including the Static-99, Stable-2007, and SAPROF-SO. She works as a provider in both group and individual settings with youth from ages 7-17 who have displayed problematic sexual behaviors.
